Ingredients
1pounddry spaghetti
4tablespoonsolive oil
8ouncesmushrooms - diced
4clovesgarlic - minced
1poundchicken - sliced into chunks
generous pinch of salt
1can cream of mushroom soup
1can milk
1/2teaspoonground sageoptional
1/2cupparmesan
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
In a large pot, add salted water and bring to a boil.
Cook pasta until it is al dente then strain and set aside.
Add olive oil, mushrooms, garlic, diced chicken and a generous pinch of salt.
Sauté until chicken is cooked through.
Add the cream of mushroom soup to the pot with the chicken and mushrooms along with milk, ground sage (if using), parmesan cheese and additional black pepper then stir until a smooth sauce forms.
Add the cooked pasta and stir together until it is evenly coated.
