One Pot Chicken And Mushroom Spaghetti Recipe

This classic chicken and mushroom pasta dish is super easy to put together and makes for a quick and delicious dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound dry spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces mushrooms - diced
  • 4 cloves garlic - minced
  • 1 pound chicken - sliced into chunks
  • generous pinch of salt
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage optional
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large pot, add salted water and bring to a boil.
  • Cook pasta until it is al dente then strain and set aside.
  • Add olive oil, mushrooms, garlic, diced chicken and a generous pinch of salt.
  • Sauté until chicken is cooked through.
  • Add the cream of mushroom soup to the pot with the chicken and mushrooms along with milk, ground sage (if using), parmesan cheese and additional black pepper then stir until a smooth sauce forms.
  • Add the cooked pasta and stir together until it is evenly coated.
  • Serve and enjoy.
