This homemade tartar sauce is delicious! We love it with fried fish and french fries and this recipe comes together really quick and easily!
This recipe will make enough for a family meal or roughly 1/4 cup of sauce. It’s the perfect amount for my family of 6 people, 2 adults and 4 kids. So you most likely won’t have leftovers if feeding a family but you can easily double the recipe if you need or want leftovers.
To me. tartar sauce has to have dill in it! This one has dill and a few friends that make it taste magically delicious!
I added dill pickles as an optional ingredient because I personally like them added to a sauce and the chunkiness doesn’t bother me at all but they aren’t a necessity if you don’t like them. The sauce tastes delicious without them too and the sauce pictured on this post does not have them added.
