Sugar Free Hibiscus Limeade

This sugar free hibiscus limeade is super refreshing and perfect for summer! It’s super simple to put together and is slightly sweet, tangy and delicious.

This drink can be dressed up by making it with sparking water instead of water or I’ve even mixed it with sprite for my kids. Rim the glass with sugar and a lime and the drink will be even more fit for a party.

What you need to make sugar free hibiscus limeade:

Makes ~1/2 gallon

  • 1/2 gallon of water or sparkling water
  • 1 tablespoon hibiscus powder (I found mine at Walmart) or 3 bags of hibiscus herbal tea or 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 3 limes
  • 2/3 cup monk fruit sweetener or sugar free sweetener of choice

Instructions

  1. If using hibiscus tea or flowers, pour 1 cup of boiling water over tea bags or flowers and let them steep for about 20 minutes or until the flavors are nice and strong. Use strainer if using flowers to drain out flower pedals then add the liquid mixture to a little less than 1/2 gallon of water or sparkling water.
  2. If using the hibiscus powder then just add the powder to the 1/2 gallon cold water or sparkling water.
  3. Add the lime juice and the whole lime rinds to the water and hibiscus, along with the monk fruit sweetener or sugar free sweetener of choice.
  4. Stir until everything is dissolved, add ice and enjoy!
