I have been loving smoothie bowls lately! This mango peach smoothie is the base for my most recent smoothie bowl obsession. It makes the perfect dessert or pick me up! My kids love it too! Some of them like berries on top others just like it straight. It’s delicious on it’s own or as a base for a smoothie bowl. It is filled with vitamin C and other vitamins, fiber, probiotics and wonderful flavors!
My kids always want smoothies for an after school snack. So I keep big bags of frozen fruit stocked in my freezer! If I have banana’s that are just a tad too ripe to enjoy on their own, I freeze them in snack sized bags for easy smoothies! Same goes for almost any other fruit I have on hand that’s about to go bad.
I also love to use yogurt in my smoothies, It adds a great creaminess to it and when I am making them for my kids. It also adds all the sugar needed to make a smoothie taste like a dessert! For the smoothies I am wanting to reduce sugar on but I still want the yogurt’s creaminess and health benefits, I use plain Greek yogurt.
