These grilled Italian pork steaks are not only delicious but also super easy to make. Pork steaks grill up quick and easily and stay juicy and tender.
I think pork steaks are totally underrated. When cooked properly they have great flavor and are so economical for feeding a family. You can get a 2 pound package for around $5-7 dollars where I live and that makes feeding a big family perfectly affordable.
A few years ago they changed parameters on pork as far as temperature that it could be eaten at. You can now eat pork rare with a internal temperature of 145 F.. While I personally like my pork medium or just below well done, the newer guidelines take out a lot of the worry that used to be associated with preparing pork.
I like to serve this dish with my one pot garlic orzo pasta, like I have pictured here. My kids love the pork cut up on the side and I love it served over top.
