Jerk Shrimp with Mango Salsa

This Jerk shrimp with mango salsa is so delicious! It’s full of Caribbean flavors that will light up your taste buds with delight! Plus, it’s super quick and easy to make.

I love to use the Spice Theory’s Jerk spice blend “Welcome to Jamrock” for this recipe. They have the original Jerk seasoning and then the mild variation of the spice. If you like heat, then you should go with the original but be warned it’s authentic and packs a punch of heat! The first ingredient is scotch bonnets, so that should tell you what you are going to get. If you love jerk flavors but not the heat then go for the mild variation.

The mango salsa in this recipe really complements the flavors of the jerk seasoning and shrimp. It’s the perfect counter balance with it’s sweetness and freshness. It has some cilantro and green onion with it to give it a savory feel. So yummy!

I love to use peeled and deveined shrimp in this recipe because then the seasoning gets directly onto the shrimp and it’s easier to eat that way. You can however, you whatever shrimp you want to for this recipe.
