I love this grown up fruit cocktail! It’s technically not just for grown up’s but it is an elevated fruit cocktail from the traditional one you may have had as a child.
It can also have alcohol added to it if you really want to make this a grown up version, however, I do not personally drink alcohol so I will just add that ingredient as a optional suggestion.
As a child, I loved when the school lunch would include fruit cocktail, I personally liked to dive through to find the cherries. So this recipe stirs up some nostalgia for me, though this version is much fresher and flavorful than the traditional version.
You can use a large variety of fruits in this recipe, I will list what I add but know that if you don’t like a fruit listed or don’t have it on hand you can swap it out for another fruit you do love.
