My Favorite Green Smoothie

This is my favorite green smoothie! It’s sweet, creamy, nutrient packed and could pass for dessert and it’s full of healthy goodness. So to me that is a big win!

This smoothie has spinach, banana, hemp hearts, frozen pineapple, mango nectar and water. It’s dairy free and vegan but feels creamy and decadent.

The hemp hearts add some protein, healthy fats, fiber and nutrients. They may seem a little controversial because they come from the cannabis sativa plant but rest assured they don’t contain any THC or CBD.

They can be bought at any grocery store now and they are a great way to up nutrition in any smoothie or recipe, in my opinion.

I love that you get the benefits of spinach in this smoothie but you cannot taste it. Don’t get me wrong, I love spinach and it’s taste but I have had some green smoothies that were a little too “green” if you know what I am saying. This smoothie strikes the perfect balance.
