Parsley Chicken

This parsley chicken makes for a delicious dinner. If you love parsley then you will love this yummy, easy to make dish. This dish takes about 45 minutes, prep to finish to make and the majority of that time is oven time. It’s healthy and flavorful!

My parsley chicken goes great with bacon ranch swiss chard like I have pictured here. It’s a great combo but this chicken would also go great with just about any other side dish.

What you need to make parsley chicken:

Serves 2

  • 2 chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, onion powder and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven proof skillet on high or medium high heat, sear chicken on each side.
  4. Sprinkle chicken with parsley, dried or fresh and place chicken in the oven.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 F. with a meat thermometer.
  6. Let chicken rest then enjoy.
