This raspberry smoothie is a family favorite and it’s so easy to make! Of all the berries, I think I love raspberries the most! They are sweet, perfectly tangy and have the most amazing flavor! This raspberry smoothie is all about that raspberry taste in a delicious and easy smoothie. My kids love this smoothie and they always come back for seconds.
Making this smoothie couldn’t be easier and it only has a few ingredients. This recipe makes roughly 40 ounces, which will serve 2-3 adults. The recipe can easily be cut in half in needed.
I keep a bag of frozen raspberries in my freezer so I can always have them on hand. I also just planted my first two raspberry bushes this year and to our surprise we even got a few raspberries. I can’t wait until I can freeze and store my own raspberries in my freezer. until then, I usually grab a bag at trader joe’s, Walmart or my local grocer.
What you need to make this raspberry smoothie:
Makes ~ 40 ounces
- 12 ounces frozen raspberries or roughly 3 cups
- 2 cups apple juice
- 2 cups ice
- 2 tablespoons sugar or honey – optional
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
