These oatmeal triple chocolate chip cookies are delicious! They are filled with milk, white and semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips. They are soft and chewy and full of chocolaty goodness.
This makes a large batch of 36 cookies but can easily be halved or save have the dough for later by rolling into balls, freezing on a cookie sheet them placing in a zip top bag.
What you need to make oatmeal triple chocolate chip cookies:
Makes 36 cookies
- 1 cup butter – room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups old fashion oats
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla and blend.
- Add oats, flour, baking soda and salt together in a separate bowl.
- Add flour and oat mixture into the butter mixture and blend until dough is all mixed.
- Add white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate chips and blend well.
- Cover and chill dough for 20 minutes. You can technically skip this step but it will help your cookies stay more uniform.
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Roll into dough balls and bake for ~9-10 minutes, check at 8 minutes.
