Oatmeal Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies

These oatmeal triple chocolate chip cookies are delicious! They are filled with milk, white and semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips. They are soft and chewy and full of chocolaty goodness.

This makes a large batch of 36 cookies but can easily be halved or save have the dough for later by rolling into balls, freezing on a cookie sheet them placing in a zip top bag.

What you need to make oatmeal triple chocolate chip cookies:

Makes 36 cookies

  • 1 cup butter – room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups old fashion oats
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla and blend.
  3. Add oats, flour, baking soda and salt together in a separate bowl.
  4. Add flour and oat mixture into the butter mixture and blend until dough is all mixed.
  5. Add white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate chips and blend well.
  6. Cover and chill dough for 20 minutes. You can technically skip this step but it will help your cookies stay more uniform.
  7. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  8. Roll into dough balls and bake for ~9-10 minutes, check at 8 minutes.
