Rice crispy treats may be the easiest dessert to make but sometimes we forget the ratios that it takes to get these delectable treats the perfect consistency and make them gooey and delicious! So for that reason I decided to post the recipe.
I also started this blog in large part to pass on to my children someday with all of my recipes and things that will remind them of me and their roots. My daughter already will go onto my website and browse my recipes until she finds one she want to make on her own or with me. So since my kids love rice crispy treats I made this post.
What you need to make rice crispy treats:
Makes 1 9 x 13 pan full

- Place butter and marshmallows in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 1 minute, it may take longer, cook until the marshmallows are soft and gooey.
- Pour in the rice crispy cereal and stir until all mixed together, it will be sticky, To prevent it from sticking to you hand you can rub a little butter on your hands to prevent it from getting too sticky.
