Tahini in desserts is becoming more and more common now a days and I love it! I use tahini in my tahini chocolate chip cookies RECIPE HERE and also in my tahini blondies (RECIPE HERE). It gives them the toasted sesame seed flavor and it’s awesome! It also helps the recipes caramelize amazingly! The color on the desserts with tahini and drool worthy! These tahini turtle Blondie’s are loaded with tahini, pecans, chocolate chips and almond flour which gives these a delicious chew!
What you need to make tahini turtle blondies:

For the tahini turtle Blondies:
- 2/3 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 2 tablespoons Tahini butter (ground sesame seeds)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Tahini caramel:
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
- Mix almond flour, flour, sugar, baking soda and salt together.
- Add milk, tahini butter, vanilla and egg.
- Blend batter together until smooth.
- Line glass 8 x 8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- pour batter into baking pan and sprinkle tops with pecans and chocolate chips.
- Bake for 35 minutes.
- Make tahini caramel during the baking time.
- In a small sauce pan, add corn syrup, sugar, tahini, butter, cream and salt and bring to a boil, stirring continuously so nothing burns.
- Reduce to a simmer and simmer for about 2 minutes or until the sugar is all melted and mixture looks creamy.
- Stir in vanilla and pour into another dish.
- When Blondie’s are done cooking pour caramel over the top of Blondie’s and sprinkle a few more chocolate chips.
- Enjoy!

Fully loaded, delicious pecan, chocolate and tahini caramel blondies!
