This healthy chocolate chia seed pudding is a great breakfast or snack that will help hit your chocolaty sugar cravings without leaving you feeling guilty. If you are a chia seed fan you will love this, if you are not, this may take a try or two to make you a fan. When I first made chia seed pudding I had a hard time with the texture but now I love it. You just have to accept chia seeds for what they are.
What you need to make chocolate chia seed pudding:
makes 8 ounces of chocolate chia seed pudding
1 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons truvia (stevia and sugar can blend)
2 Tablespoons cocao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons chia seeds
Instructions
- Heat your almond milk in the microwave or on the stove top until it is hot.
- Add truvia, cocao powder and vanilla extract and mix until blended.
- Add chia seeds and whisk so the seeds don’t clump up.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Enjoy!
