Bacon Wrapped Pork Roast

This bacon wrapped pork roast is one of my favorites! It is super easy to make and requires only 3 ingredients! The main seasoning is Weber’s steak n’ Chop Seasoning, it’s the perfect blend of spices for the pork roast and bacon combo! It has garlic, onion, lemon peel and other spices in it and can be found at Walmart and most major grocery stores and it’s around $3 for the bottle! Totally worth having in your spice cabinet!

This pork roast can be grilled on a pellet grill, smoker, grill or in the oven. I cook mine on the pellet grill for a little extra smokey goodness.

What you need

makes ~2 pounds
  • ~2 pounds pork loin roast
  • 2 tablespoons Weber’s Steak n’ Chop Seasoning
  • 1/2 pound bacon

Instructions

  1. On a aluminum foil lined cookie sheet, place pork loin roast.
  2. Press Steak n’ Chop seasoning all around the roast.
  3. Wrap with bacon.
  4. Grill on pellet grill at 350 F. for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes or until internal temperature is between 145 F. (rare) and 165 F.. I would recommend closer to 160 F. because that is how I like it, juicy but not rare. Though you can cook pork to rare temperatures now according to the FDA new guidelines on pork.
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
