Poppy Seed Salad Dressing

I love a yummy poppy seed salad dressing! This one is super simple and easy to make but will make any salad pop with flavor! It will also store in your fridge for a while too. Try this dressing on my chicken rainbow crunch salad recipe HERE.

I love poppy seeds! Not only do they add texture to any dish but they have a flavor that is unique to only them! I also love a mayonnaise based poppy seed dressing and I will hopefully get my creamy poppy seed dressing up on my website soon!

What you need to make this poppy seed salad dressing

Makes ~3/4 cup dressing
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
Instructions
  1. Combine white vinegar, red vinegar, sugar and salt and bring to a boil.
  2. Boil for 1-2 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add poppy seeds and allow mixture to cool.
  4. Whisk in oil and serve over any salad.
