These peanut butter hug cookies are a delicious variation of a peanut butter blossom! They use Hershey hugs instead of Hershey’s kisses, though you could use kisses if you’d like or you can do half of your batch with each. These are soft, slightly chewy and they melt in your mouth! I love the sweet, slightly salty and chocolate flavor combination in these cookies. Don’t forget the glass of cold milk to go along with them.
I have a house full of peanut butter afficianatos so these are a yummy family favorite! I love to make them around the holidays but really they are delicious any time of the year.
The dough for these can be frozen in balls then taken out about 30 minutes before baking. There is an extra option for chocolate chips, I like to sneak on under the Hershey’s hug so everyone gets a fun little milk chocolate surprise but it’s completely optional.
