This homemade ramen noodle bowl has a super rich sauce! It is also super quick and easy to make! You can set out all the desired toppings and everyone can make their own bowls. My kids go nuts over this recipe! To make it even more fun I put it into take out containers and the kids feel super cool eating their own ramen while watching a movie!
How to make this homemade ramen noodle bowl:
serves 6 people
- 3 quarts Water
- 3 Tablespoons Better than Bouillon Chicken Flavor
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Ground Garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 1/2 – 2 teaspoons Salt (depends how salty you like your broth, I would start with 1 1/2, taste and add more if you like it saltier)
- 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce or Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 18 ounces dry ramen noodles or 6 packages of Ramen Noodles – noodles only
- *Optional Sriracha if you want some spice.
Possible toppings
- Shredded Chicken breast
- Grilled Steak sliced thinly
- Caramelized Pork
- Shrimp
- Sauted mushrooms – I saute mine in sesame oil
- Sauted Bell Peppers
- Soft Boiled eggs – start egg in warm water and bring water to a boil, 7 minutes from when you put the eggs in the warm water.
- Diced Green onions
- Cooked Carrots
- Peas
- Carrots
- Sauted Bok Choy
- Broccoli
- Sesame seeds
- Thinly Slice Nori
- And whatever your heart desires!
Instructions
- Add all sauce ingredient to a large stock pot and bring to a boil.
- Add Noodles and cook according to package directions, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add noodles and sauce to bowl along with all other desired toppings.
