My husband’s favorite pie is chocolate pie! This chocolate fudge pie is layered with a yummy fudge layer, creamy chocolate layer and then whipped cream on top! It’s delicious and a crowd favorite! It is also easy to make!
I use a pre-bought chocolate cookie crust because it saves time and they are inexpensive. However, if you prefer to make your own crust it would taste amazing with this recipe too.
What you need chocolate fudge pie:
Makes 1- 7-8 inch pie
- Pre-made Chocolate Cookie Crust
- 1 1/2 cups Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 Cup Sweetened Condense Milk
- 1/3 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- Sprinkle of Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/3 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 2 Cups Sweetened Whipped Cream
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, pour chocolate chips.
- In another microwave safe bowl, combine heavy cream and sweetened condense milk. Microwave for 1:30 or until mixture is hot.
- Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for a few minutes until chocolate melts.
- mix together until a smooth shiny chocolate fudge forms.
- Pour 1/2 of the mixture into the chocolate pie crust.
- Add 1/3 Cup Heavy Whipping cream to the other half of the chocolate mixture and stir. Allow that mixture to cool.
- With a whisk or a stand mixer whip the cream and chocolate mixture until it thickens. Don’t over mix because cream will break and the chocolate will separate.
- Once mixed, add on top of the fudge layer.
- Top with sweetened whip cream and enjoy!
