Kitchen Sink Cookies

Kitchen Sink Cookies

No worries these kitchen sink cookies are not made in the kitchen sink. I hesitated calling them that in fear someone might actually think that. Alas, they are referencing the old saying “everything but the kitchen sink” and are a slight play on a monster cookie. This recipe came about when my daughters friends were over and they wanted to make some cookies and I had a lot of random things in my kitchen so we made them and the kids loved them.

What you will need

Makes 24 cookies

1 Stick Butter

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs

1 teaspoon Vanilla

1 Cup Quick Oats

1 1/2 Cup Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/2 Cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

1/2 cup Marshmallows

6 chopped oreos

Preheat oven to 375 F. Cream together the butter and sugars. Add the eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking soda, salt and mix. Add that mixture to the butter mixture and mix well. Next, stir in the chocolate chips, marshmallows and oreos. Scoop out 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls and place them on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
