Slow Cooker Chili Verde Pork
Slow Cooker Chili Verde Pork is super easy to throw in the slow cooker and let cook all day. It’s super flavorful and tender! It tastes great over rice with a side of beans and fresh salsa or in a burrito, taco, on a salad or just on it’s own.
Here is what you need to make
2 pounds Pork Shoulder or Butt Roast
4 Cloves Garlic
1 Small Onion
1 Tablespoon Salt
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 1/2 Cups Salsa Verde medium heat
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
In a crock pot place your pork shoulder or butt roast. Season the roast with the 1 Tablespoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Peel the garlic cloves and add to the crock pot whole. Dice the onion and add around the roast. Pour 1 1/2 cups of the Salsa Verde on top and around the roast. Add the Brown sugar on top. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the roast can easily be shredded. Enjoy!
