Here is how you make this healthy almond pear crisp
For the Bottom Layer:
- 4 ripe Pears – peeled and cored and sliced into thin slices.
- 1 Tablespoon Almond Flour or finely ground almonds
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
For Crumble Topping:
- 1 cup Quick Oats
- 2 Tablespoons Coconut Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/3 Cup Almond Butter
Instructions:
- Combine the pears with almond flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice and pour onto the bottom of a greased 8 x 8 square baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine quick oats, coconut sugar, salt, cinnamon, and almond butter and mix together well. Pour over the top of the pear mixture.
- Bake for 35 minutes. Serve warm.
